The Visual Arts Board (VAB) of the Australia Council for the Arts has announced it will defund Craft Australia, the national peak body for craft and design in Australia. responsible for managing the Craft ACT Shop
and will have a high level of autonomy in managing daily work.

Centenary of Canberra

Centenary of Canberra - a legacy of good design was a competition to design unique, high quality objects to be produced and sold as memorabilia for the city's centenary in 2013. 4 winners will each receive $10,000 for the production costs of the product. Stay tuned for the announcement of the finalists and winners in March 2012.
