Louise Doyle, Director, National Portrait Gallery, officially opened the Centre's current exhibitions, Emerging Contemporaries, The Experience of Beauty - Brook Morgan and Elements: leather - Colin Lee and Judy Parker on Thursday 5 April 2012.
Emerging Contemporaries showcases award winning graduating students and selected national emerging craft practitioners and designer makers, The Experience of Beauty presents a body of fibre work incorporating natural materials which resonate with the characteristics of beauty, and Colin Lee and Judy Parker exhibit in the Elements series finale, Elements: leather.
