Using a wide palette of materials, Nyx Mathews, Kristina Neumann and Thomas O’Hara pose the question ‘how are objects made?’ in their thought-provoking exhibition, Material Codes. For these Canberra-based emerging artists with connections to the ANU School of Art and Design, objects can be made via systems. Each creates work which explores the complexity, contradictions and infinite interpretations of making within a system.
