afterLandscape Bev Hogg
19 July - 30 September 2010 The Tree Museum, Canada
afterLandscape is a multi year project developed through the collaboration of the Tree Museum, Canada and Craft ACT: Craft and Design Centre in Canberra. Bev Hogg and Trish Roan will be on sight at the Tree Museum from 1 August as part of the international exchange. The concepts and final work will unfold once they've have had the opportunity to engage with the site. The exhibition, afterLandscape, opens on 5 September.

From the early 1970s, the Tamworth Fibre Textile Biennial, managed by Tamworth Regional Gallery, has provided audiences with an exciting and vibrant survey exhibition of contemporary fibre textiles. It is recognised as Australia's pre-eminent textile-related exhibition and includes works from across the nation. Valerie Kirk curated Momentum.
Conjunction - Debra Boyd-Goggin and Chris Harman Debra Boyd-Goggin
12 August - 25 September 2010 Craft ACT: Craft and Design Centre
Conjunction is an exhibition of new work by ceramicists Debra Boyd-Goggin and Chris Harman. Harman focuses on the formation of structure through the repeated element, and Boyd-Goggin explores the multiple layering of glazes with defined carving. The exhibition showcases the collaborative practice of the artists, while highlighting their distinct and individual styles.

Reflection Simon Maberley

Maberley presents an installation of glass and mixed media, incorporating moving elements. The work centres on a life-size figure made from glass with mechanised components. Motion sensors are engaged as the viewer enters the space around the work, with the interaction resulting in activation of the kinetic sculpture.
